The New MDI2 is compatible with various diagnostic software, including GDS2, DPS, and Tech2win offline software, providing a comprehensive solution for automotive professionals. Additionally, it supports ECU, PCM (Powertrain Control Module), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and VTA (Vehicle Theft Alarm) programming operations, as well as immobilizer matching.


Moreover, GM offers one year of free maintenance and online firmware upgrades, ensuring that users can keep their devices up-to-date without incurring additional costs. The Device Manager is also available for free download, simplifying the management of software updates and tools.
